Junior Java person ( 3 years)
 
Must have both the positions are Java and Oracle.
Nice to have are BEA weblogic, SOA etc.

JOB SUMMARY: An individual and team contributor providing technical knowledge to single application development and enhancement projects utilizing current computing architectures. Has principal responsibility for creative programming and related maintenance of the company’s computer systems and applications and participates in all phases of the system development cycle.  
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Programming in ABAP, Java,Visual Basic and other object oriented   programming languages.
· Analyzing, debugging & resolving application software problems.
·  Interface design / implementation.
·  SQL coding.
· Carries pager for on call support at regular intervals.
· Provide a high level of customer service, partnering with end-users in the resolution of application problems or in the deployment of new software applications.
· Design, code and test software with Supervision.
· Follow all appropriate design, development, and testing specifications.
· Identify business problems and implement programming solutions in single functional project environments.
· Other duties as required
·Knowledge of the following client -side and server-side Web technologies: W3C Web standards and specifications, HTML, CSS, HTTP / HTTPS, XML/XSL, Active-X, DOM, Perl, Java (including the full life cycle development experience in Java development), JavaScript, Java Applets, and J2EE (JSPs, Servlets, and EJBs) .  Can substitute Java based knowledge with equivalent .NET knowledge.
·Knowledge of the design and implementation of Web Applications, including both client-side and server-side components.
·Knowledge of Procedural and Object Oriented programming techniques
·Working knowledge of UNIX Operating System
·Knowledge of  Database Management Systems
·Demonstrate problem-solving skills
