Requirements:

·        Technical support for multiple SAP systems which includes installing and maintaining software including upgrades, applying kernel patches, OSS Notes, and Support Packages as well as the responsibility for capacity planning, tuning and application server load balancing, as well as day-to-day monitoring and administration of SAP systems.

·        SAP BASIS administration including R/3/ECC, PI and BI, knowledge of SAP portal installation, administration, tuning and Solution Manager

·        Expert Level Proficiency in the SAP Suite including NetWeaver with additional skills in PI, BI and Portal

·        Provide guidance, assistance and mentoring to less senior team members.

·        Configuration of technical environment, backup configuration and recovery.

·        Troubleshoot complex SAP production support issues and provide post-trouble continuous improvement guidance (lessons’ learned, revised best-practices, and updated procedures/training).

·        Knowledge of configuration and working with NWDI, CCMS, SSO and LDAP authentication with SAP.

·        Knowledge of Oracle database functions and concepts in order to detect/troubleshoot database problems and work with DBA team.

·        Knowledge of Unix shell scripting preferably HP-UX and Linux RedHat environment.

·        Experience with SAP Solution Manger including MOPZ, diagnostics and root cause analysis.

·        Experience in VLDB environment is desirable.

·        Maintain technical background and hands-on experience to properly research, specify and execute infrastructure changes and upgrades necessitated by the deployment of new projects and/or platforms within the enterprise.

·        Follow the IT Project methodology to deliver quality solutions to the business.

·        Create and maintain standard operating procedures and other necessary documentation.

·        Performance tuning for ABAP and Java SAP Environments.

·        Provide a high level of customer service, partner with end-users in the resolution of issues or in the deployment of enhancements.

·        Participate in on-call support rotations for local site and provide support as part of global team.

·        Respond quickly to refresh data; verify implementation of correct backup strategy; develop recovery procedures; support recovery from loss of data caused by user or system.

·        Ensure solutions meet business objectives and establishes and maintains a high level of user trust in IT’s knowledge of and concern for users’ business needs.
