Job Descripton:
· Analyze current applications; provide architecture guidance, co-ordinate with other resources to provide better support on existing applications and strategic direction. Research, evaluate, and recommend software packages for purchase and deployment.
· Using advanced systems analysis and organizational skills, build strong knowledge of technology requirements and solutions, gaining understanding of current applications & projects and support requirements; create and execute a roadmap for delivering on the requirements, projects, and support function.
· The candidate should be able to define functional specifications for ABAP development, define and execute end to end business process test scripts, execute user acceptance testing, develop & impart training and perform conversion and cutover tasks.
· Develop deliverables - Blueprinting workshop materials, As-Is, To-Be, business process flow diagrams, functional specifications, unit and integration test scripts, conversion mapping, training documents & job aids.
· Coach junior analysts on configuration team to configure the SAP SCM modules and processes and SAP applications relevant to this position include PP and MM.
· The position requires strong SAP supply chain (SCM) functional and processes knowledge and integration knowledge with other modules to drive the business towards SAP centric best practice solutions.
· Experience with PP/PI is a plus. The candidate should have the ability to understand upcoming business processes or business changes and its impact on system solutions.
· Serve as a planning and supply chain functional analyst in all stages of the SAP projects
· Work independently with business to gather business requirements and SAP configuration team to perform system build
· Work with Finance, Supply Chain and Accounting departments in support of their business processes.
· Evaluate business needs and suggest solutions.
· Provide leadership for implementing and delivering solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems desired, however equivalent work experience and education will be considered, advanced degree and relevant professional training preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Ten years experience in the information systems field, five years of experience as a systems analyst in a complex system development and software package environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· 5+ years of SAP configuration knowledge and functional experience in the deployment of the SCM modules (e.g., Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning).
· Experience in performing workshops, and requirement gathering sessions with the business.
· Very strong in SCM and SAP R/3 planning experience.
· Experience with SCM DP and SNP implementations.
· Integration knowledge of the PP module with MM, SD, PC and FI.
· Two or more full cycle SAP implementations on a project which included SAP DP and/or SNP.
· SAP project implementation experience on a recent version of SAP 4.6 or later. ECC 6.0 experience preferred.
· Strong SAP experience in building service solutions including Production Planning, MRP and relevant master data.
· Preferred health care medical diagnostic or service industry experience and respective business process knowledge.
